How it Works

The patented GateStrainer sits just inside the gate valve curb box. The cup-shaped design allows water to pass through it, while effectively collecting any sand, stones, road salt, asphalt, etc. that would naturally build up on top of the gate valve over time. It has an attached flip handle that allows for easy in and out access. When you need to access a gate valve, you need only remove the GateStrainer and shake out the debris. It eliminates the need to dig out the debris by hand or use expensive vacuuming equipment. When the work is complete, you place the empty GateStrainer back in place to continue protecting your system.
